New Zealand crushed Pakistan by a huge margin of 110 runs at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy today. Riding on birthday boy Ross Taylor's blazing 131 not out, Kiwis who decided to bat first after winning the toss got to an incredible total of 302 for 7.

New Zealand scored 302 against Pakistan for the loss of seven wickets after Ross Taylor was not out on 131 off 124 balls celebrating his birthday and taking his team to a respectable total. New Zealand scored the last 100 runs in just 29 balls after Pakistan looked comfortable to restrict New Zealand to 250.

Two teams have played a lot of cricket with each other and either side should be familiar with strengths and weaknesses of other. But Tuesday fixture in Sri Lanka will be altogether a different affair with so much to play for.
